Chong Li is the antagonist in the 1988 movie “Bloodsport”, but was a composite character made up of different fighters, but there was a real man and fighter named Chong Li.

No one knows for sure if he is still alive or not, but he was North Korean and every bit a foraminal fighter his on screen counterpart portrayed by Bolo Yeung.
